The cache folder method:
Probably runs faster, though for most websites, the difference should be tiny.

already using MySQL on your website.

your hosting provider messes with the "access permissions" for your cache folders or files.
The MySQL method:

be easier to set up if:
your webserver is Windows-based.
you don't have Telnet access to your server (FTP access is sometimes enough, but not always).
you don't know how to set "access permissions" for cache folders (this script will do it for you automatically if your server supports the necessary functions).

For faster performance, CaRP stores copies of feed data on your server. I can either create folders for storing cache files, or set up caching tables in a MySQL database. If I am unable to complete the selected setup method, you'll see this form again and have the chance to select the other method.
